About the Role

The purpose of this position is to provide excellent customer service and sale support to our clients over the phone and through online platforms.

The Customer Service Consultant will implement sale plans under the guidance and supervision of the Sales Manager. Following corporate strategies and business plans, the Sales Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the customer service consultants are trained and supported in performing their work and in meeting their sales targets. 

This role is for someone who has sales experience and a strong drive to provide great outcomes for clients. 

To be successful in this role you will have positive friendly attitude and an ability to place clients at the centre of everything you do. We will provide the training, tools, and support to set you up for success.

 

Main Responsibilities

Sales Support and Services

  • Provide exceptional customer service and general sales advice to clients relating to their enquiries across many of the products we offer
  • Build and maintain strong ongoing relationships with the current and new clients
  • Liaise with clients, internal and external stakeholders to manage clients’ general enquiries
  • Accept and manage clients’ general enquiries, following up referrals, converting leads to applications, and issuing reports
  • Identify and investigate growth opportunities using various sources including clients and leads providers and report on lead progress 
  • Prepare pricing strategies and quotations for clients in consultation with line manager
  • Establish client profiles, maintain and expand client base 
  • Work closely with other team members to deliver consistent and exceptional client experiences

Other Tasks

  • Provide reports and insights to support corporate business planning and process improvement. 
  • Other reasonable duties and tasks as assigned by line manager and management.

Essential Requirements

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English. 
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field.
  • Exceptional sales skills with proven experience in quickly building productive relationship with a range of clients.
  • Experience in implementing successful sales plans, meeting set targets. 
  • Ability to understand clients’ needs, ask the right questions and find the right solutions
  • Strong focus on finding solutions, the confidence to ask the right questions
  • Client orientated, capable of competently liaising with internal staff and clients in professional and friendly manner at all levels of an organisation
  • Results focused and effective time management skills allowing for set deadlines
  • Ability to multitask requests, events, systems and deadlines

Desirable Experience and Skills 

  • Experience of working in Banking and Financial Services sector highly regarded
  • Experience in offshore sales or customer service roles highly regarded
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced and medium enterprise environment highly regarded.
